What coaching actually changes when you are the one everyone leans on

Coaching is not advice, and it is not therapy for people who are broken. It is a structured walk beside you while you decide what comes next.

When someone tells me they do not know what they want anymore, I do not hand them a plan. I ask questions that they have not been asked in a long time — and I wait while they answer them. That is the whole beginning of coaching.

What coaching is not

It is not a mentor telling you what to do with your life. It is not a fix for a crisis, and if you are in one, you deserve support that goes further than a conversation. It is also not a place to perform being okay. Most of the women who come to me have been performing for years.

What it is

A steady, structured relationship where you get to think out loud without anyone needing anything from you. We name what you have been carrying that was never yours. We look honestly at what you are ready to shed. Then we shape the next step — small, specific, and yours.

Where it shows up first

Usually in the body before the life. Shoulders drop. Sleep comes back. The voice that says you should be doing more gets quieter. Then the decisions get easier, because you are no longer making them from exhaustion.

How to know if it is time

If you keep saying "I'll rest when things settle down," and things never settle down — that is the signal. If you can describe everyone else's needs in detail and go blank about your own — that is the signal. You do not need to be in crisis to deserve this.

Every program I run, and every talk I give, grows from the same path: shed what is heavy, shape what is next, shine in the life you were made for. Coaching is where that path gets walked one person at a time, at your pace.
